Don't get me wrong - I love ECS and buy all my stuff there but I'm getting sick of paying duty on shipments from the US for no reason, so is there a similar company in Canada that has the same selection?

Just ordered $200 in parts and was dinged $67 for brokerage fees.

Just an idea or suggestion.

I live 1 hour from a US city, Buffalo in my case.

I use an address service, and have an delivery address in Buffalo.

They charge $5 per package and $5 per week passed the 1st week. No ther frickin fee.

I rarely pay any shipping charges now and when I need to buy, I try to pool all my purchases together and go for a leisurely drive there to pick up my things. Crossing border is as easy as pie, with higher allowances now.

Works great for me, for any and all purchases (eBay, Amazon and any other vendor) often many will offer free shipping to any of the lower 48 states...

Love it. My bro in Montreal does the same, his service is in Plattsburgh, NY.

for OEM parts I recommend neil @ Owasco Audi/VW. He is very fair with forum members and if you let him know you're an AZ member and want the hookup, he will oblige. Makes it worthwhile on many things.

I ordered my Oettinger muffler last week and got it shipped to my wife's hotel in Boston yesterday as she was going there with her students for 2 days. Because of yesterday's events, the trip got cancelled and now the muffler and rear valence are now stuck at her hotel in Boston...
