Default A local meet section?

so i use to browse around all kind of local forums and one thing that was useful was a car meet forums....it will probably be helpful ...seeing how not every1 with a4 may look at the a3/tt/a6/a8 etc sections... + it would be a lot better to plan out meets ..cheers!

I think there is already a local Audi meet up going on each month. But never hurt to have another one, I guess.

For the Toronto area.... I tried to maintain a monthly meet here in the Toronto area, but it just fell apart. We had good turnouts initially but over time, it just didn't work out due to family commitments, and other plans especially when the weather is nice. Maybe I'll try and get a bunch out to do some karting in Brampton.

Now we just have our "adhoc" coffee meets here in Toronto at the Starbucks on Avenue Road, just north of Lawrence which now turned into a weekly thing. The past year, I only recall one weekend (excluding the xmas holidays of course) where only four people showed. Last week, we almost had a dozen people show (B5/B6 S4/A4s, me with the only B7 A4, TTs, a few Porsches from time to time, Subaru's). There's also a large number of A3 drivers on Fourtitude but I don't know if they're doing regular meets anymore.

If you want to tell these owners about this site I would really appreciate it. I expect this site to grow and stay around for a long time.

In addition, I have no problems with you posting meets from other forums once I make the local meets section. I don't think we should all be split up - if the communities work together we can create really large and exciting meets all over the country.

I can see how this may seperate audi meets...but what i was hoping was that when more and more local audi owners show up on this forum..it would be easier to organize meets...because owners of audi split into AZ, fourtitude, and AW and not every1 goes on all of them..hard to work things out i guess...

I guess once this forum becomes more established hopefully the Canadian members from each of those sites will become a part of this forum (in addition to the other ones) and that way meets can be planned here and we can get good turnouts at them.
