Thanks for the very useful information.

Anyone know a solution to this besides taking the car into the dealer ...

My rear passenger side window has become very tempermental when I'm opening and closing. It stops and starts and I often have to push up or down a few times to get to move the way I want. Probably need to take it in, but if anyone knows a solution that would be great.

Cheers, Franz

Yeah that sounds like an issue with the actual switch to control the window or there is a possibility it could be your window motor or regulator. Does it do it with both the master and passenger door control? If so then it would be the latter issue but if it works with the actual door switch, then your master control might just need to be disassembled and cleaned with electrical contact cleaner.

You have an '06 right? Shouldnt that be under warranty???

Yep, I'm under warranty. Was just hoping to avoid giving my baby over to the dealership for a day or even half a day.

Zoidbort - thanks, very helpful. It's not the motor but indeed the driver side control. I'm due for a service interval in a month, so I'll get them to fix it then.

Cheers, Franz
