I didn't realize they were showing up in dealerships already.

The UK model has a combined fuel economy (electric + gas) of 166.2 mpg (1.7 L/100km). This is on the EU rive cycle, which is definitely not real-world, but can be used for comparison purposes.

They are not quite here yet.

There is a Q7 promo on here first of next week. The head office person drove to town in the E-Tron. Full promo graphics emblazoned all over it.

The service rep at the check in counter did tell me that they have all had training on it. So, it can't be far off.

I noticed on Saturday that the e-tron is now showing on Audi.ca:
2016 Audi A3 Sportback e-tron

Pricing and options are confirmed (as indicated in previous post).

There are two versions, e-tron, and e-ton ultra. The e-tron version has two trim levels: Progressiv and Technik. The ultra version has only one trim level. It is identical to the Progressiv, except for the ultra-low rolling resistance tires that give it the "ultra" designation.

Default Delivery today - first in Ottawa!

Had a nice Christmas present today. Received my 2016 Audi A3 Sportback e-tron Technik today.

Found that I cannot register for Audi connect e-tron services at https://myaudiconnect.com. It requires a US zip code and only offers a list of US states (no provinces). So far, with respect to this feature - fail! (this website is in the A3 manual that came with the car).

Everything else - fantastic!

Congrats... I pick mine up next week. Can you give me some specifics on the audi connect? Can you even access it in the vehicle? My understanding was the etron (Canadian edition) didn't even have audi connect functionality built in, but if there is functionality in the vehicle, then maybe it's something Audi can add in down the road... I'd seriously doubt we can get audi connect if it's not available in the MMI system already.

Feel free to PM me BTW if you want to work through any random questions/observations together. I've been doing a ton of research on the car and am excited to pick mine up.

What home charger did you end up purchasing? I'm finding it hard to find a good selection. The portable one with the car will work in the meantime but I want to take advantage of the Ontario $1,000 rebate and get another one installed permanently.

Hi Murrae14 - welcome to AudiForum.ca!

No luck with the connect feature. Unlike many sections of the manual (which make it clear which features are US only and which are Canada only), the discussion of the Audi connect feature makes no distinction.

There is no access to it in the vehicle (no SIM slot in the glove-box CD player/SD media card device; and no Info option on the MMI plus screen).

I found by searching Google that I could register the vehicle at my.audi.com. I was also able to register my 2014 Audi Q5 at the same site.

This site indicates I should have some Audi connect functionality, maybe through a mobile phone Bluetooth connection? It has provided me with an Audi connect PIN, stating "Please enter the PIN above in your Audi MMI to link your vehicle with myAudi." But I cannot find anywhere to enter this PIN number on my Audi.

Further exploration of my.audi.com indicates I should be able to download and update the maps on the navigation system.

I have not decided on the home charger - just using the (quite nice) portable one provided by Audi. I am waiting until next week to call Bosch about the home installation - details at Residential | Bosch Electric Vehicle Solutions. I may not go with Bosch, though.

The dealer told me the nice wall mounted box has a price of $745. I think that is just for the box, not the charger itself.

The $1000 rebate is split - $500 for the charger and $500 for a professional installation.
