You own a 2007 A6 and you can't afford a $100 VAG-COM licence?

So you've used VAG-COM/VCDS multiple times before, know the benefits and can now afford a fairly new A6. Me thinks it's time you paid for a licence. Put it this way, how would you feel if someone stole your A6 because they could and thought it was the smarter thing to do than go out to buy one themself

Real cost is likely less than 1 service call for the A6 and you get to license it forever.

Ouch, you guys are beating him. You don't have to agree with his decisions. Does anyone have any helpful info for him?

Sorry, as a moderator, I don't think you should be encouraging forum members to help him steal something.

The most helpful info is to buy the licence. It comes with tech support and helps promote and support Ross-Tech in furthering VAG-COM/VCDS development.

Not beating on anyone. It just sounded a little funny that an owner of a $50K+ Audi was openly looking for pirated software on an Audi forum.

I think if you read what I wrote you will see that I did not encourage any stealing of programs. I was only letting you guys know that the point was taken and if we could move on
