Calling A6 Owners...
Hi All,
I own a 1999. Runs well and it's great to drive. I know because I drive a minivan during the day and every time I drive the A6 (2.
it feels just like new. I'm having a small rust problem on the driver's side and I have to replace the switch for the triptronic. It's a $500 piece. Yikes! They certainly know how to overcharge. In any event, I wouldn't trade it in. I now want an S5 or a TT Coupe or maybe even the Q5. Ah decisions, decisions and not enough money to have them all!

I just got an '00 A6 2.7T last week w/ champagne exterior and burgandy interior. The km's are extremely high sitting at 300xxxkm's but it got regular maintainence and alot of usual problems such as the water pump, timing belt and brakes were done. Hopefully theres not too many problems with this car...
Sign me up! I have 2 A6s. A 2003 3.0 for lux, and a Black 2004 2.7 Sline for sport. I love them both to death. Very well built cars, although a little expensive to maintain.
Hi, I just joined this forum. I own a 2003 A6 4.2. Silver with the sport suspension and the Winter package. I'm about to purchase an RNS-E for it. Hope to stick around for awhile.
Cheers

Champagne Exterior and Beige Interior, looks great and drives nice. Well maintianed with Dealer So far, done 160Km.
Now I have a Check Engine light, Diagnostic code 17819 (P1411) & 17831 (P1423) Secondary Airsystem issue.
Did any of you have this issue. Still runs fine.
Thanks
Chris

Since both banks are reporting low flow, I would try VAG-COM Output Test for the SAI Pump to confirm it's operation. Without VAG, you can audibly hear it run during engine warm up phase so try listening to SAI Pump under the hood. If you don't hear it run, suggest check the fuse for the Secondary Air Injection Pump.
My first Audi, 2001 2.7T Tip, dark blue, 183,000km. It's got the heated rear seats, and I think the sport package, seats are heavily bolstered, and has 17" BBS wheels. Have had it for about 2 weeks now. Have ordered 710N diverter valves and a new TTB, oh, and removed the "servotronic" unit for a heaver steering feel. Got some oil leaks to fix too, but other than that, runs strong and smooth. Once all of the typical trouble items are addressed, think I'll chip it
JetTech 2.7T, Can you just cut the stock bumper and put on exhaust tips? I've seen some A6's around with the dual exhaust poking out of the bumper and like the look better the stock "limp d*ck" turn down tips on mine.
