Default New Wheels

Hi

I was thinking of buying a set of wheels for my 03 a6 3.0.

I have 16 inch 215 wide now. The ones I am looking at are 18 inch 255. I was wondering if that width would be okay, or will cause any problems.

Any input/opinions/thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Would it help if they are 255/35/18 from an a6 4.2?

I would really like thoughts on this.

Thank you.

Thanks for the input. Was hoping for that reply . Would they stick out from the panel profiles?
