I have a plug for the cell phone in my armrest and I would like to use my cell phone though the factory wiring, is there a conversion kit that will allow todays digital phones to work?

I called the dealer and the best he could do was to tell me I needed to buy a new mounting kit from them for $500.00 and a bluetooth module from Mercedes for another $500.00. My car is a 2001 so it's probably not worth the effort. The phone mount shown on you tude must be the part of the kit the dealer was talking about.
