pricing for 2009 A4 premium
You're looking at $49k list. You should be able to get 5-7% off the list plus freight, PDI, air tax, admin fees, etc. Audi has an extra $2750 rebate to the dealer so you should get most of that rebate as well, especially if you're paying cash.
I am planning to lease a A4 premium, if the lease rate and residual can be negotiated? I saw it is 50% for 48 months term.
How this residual is calculated? Wlll it be a factor of MRSP or the actual selling price?

The residual is what the finance company believes the car will be worth at the end of the lease. It is calculated as a % of the MSRP. Generally you can't negotiate that amount.
The lease rates are also provided by the finance company and generally not negotiable. Audi has substantilly raised their lease rates so not the best of times to lease a new Audi. I believe Pfaff has some special lease rates that they are offering through their own leasing company. But it may make you ineligible for the factory to dealer rebate.
The only real place to negotiate is off the MSRP and that is where you can easily get 5-7% off.
Good luck.

I checked car cost canada website and they do confirm the $2750 rebate and they give the following details that I don't understand
"The Marketing Allowance/Factory to Dealer Rebate applies to deliveries between January 3, 2009 and February 5, 2009 and can only be applied when vehicle is leased through a source other than Audi Finance standard or special rates. Cash sales and non-Audi Finance retail financing transactions are not eligible. Please consult your dealer for further details"
I would likely have to order my car and it wouldn't be deliver until April/May so how do you negotiate a price when the rebate may not apply, and I don't understand how to be eligible I was going to pay cash but it seems the rebate doesn't apply to cash customers and only to someone who wants to lease.

I went through transdeal.ca as mentioned in another post and I think I got a good deal. Purchased a 2009 Meteor Gray A4 with 2.0 premium quattro, auto, B&O sound, and technology pkg shipped from Vancouver to Edmonton for $47,700 plus GST, PST was eliminated as I reside in Alberta and don't have to pay. this is about $3600 off of MSRP ($1000 off for using financing outside of Audi) and my local dealer was only willing to do $1500 off.
