when they did my test I got the same answer, its in the normal range but they keep changing parts every time I bring it in and still not fixed

they told me if I want to do the oil consumption test now it will cost me 650.00 and if they find any issues the warranty company will pick up that cost. You got a good deal if you only paid 50.00 but at the same time we should not be spending our money on a known issue that Audi Canada wont fix.

I have this issue with my 2009 A4 Avant. I've tried to address with my dealer with no luck. Their answer is to provide me with a complimentary top up whenever the oil light comes on...I stop in every 2 weeks! It is ridiculous that they have been getting away with this.

I am absolutely on board with a Class Action lawsuit against Audi for the oil consumption on the 2.0 TSFI engine. I am very aware of the US Class Action and the recent settlement.

I own a 2009 Audi A4 Avant that has absurd oil consumption which could not be considered normal by any competent auto mechanic, except a company that is trying to slow play and cover up a know mechanical defect with their cars.

Please feel free to contact me with any updates about joining as a member of the class or as a representative plaintiff.

OP is not responding folks, at least to me. anyone heard from him/her?

it seems www.a4b8oil.ca should be the new home for those interested in any updates for a class-action.

I have a 2011 with issues but now looking at a 2015 S3...is this an on-going issue for the 2.0T or has it been solved?

I have a 2009 A4. I did my 80K service in Nov 2014 and during the last week of Jan 2015, my engine oil warning came up (that was odd given only less than 3 months). Well this time, I believe it's the 2nd warning message triggered on the MMI. It's my first time seeing this warning!.

Took my car to check if it's a sensor issue. It turns out my A4 burnt 2L for 2K already driven! I was recommended to do an oil consumption test. I did the test (First Part) today. I actually requested the test back in 2012, the dealer said my car was fine at the time. Now I have to wait and see.

I wish there is a class action lawsuit in Canada.
