Audi Canada - Class Action suit - Please contact me.
Hi everyone.
I have 2014 A4 tfsi technik. Checking oil regularly over MMI, no problem at all . Have not pull out oil dipstick yet.I will those days.
I had so much faith in Audi, but there's all bunch of small issues it start going on my nerve. Windshield wipers -poor engineering, issue with door sensors, rear view camera is useless in snowy or rainy day, driver courtesy light didn't work since day one (had it replaced) and I'm afraid will be more to come.

2009 / 2010 A4 Burning Oil? for the class action suit.
Look,as I know so far Audi said in Owner manual it will be some oil burned, so I'm not sure is it something critical or just matter of luck (lemon vehicle).Anyway ,I'll let you know if something serious arise.

Hey guys, good news regarding the Oil consumption issue.
Just received this message from my friend at a dealership:
Fyi, just saw a bulletin that Audi is covering oil consumption for 8 years or 130,000 km from the original inservice date. There are limitations and exclusions 2009-2011 2.0t CAEB
Good luck everyone

to 130000km. The coverage is transferable. There are some conditions as:
car should have all genuine parts, no engine-chip modification, and proof of
all services. Nice, but my oil consumption is way under the owner manual
specification....

Got my letter but there was no specification of how much oil it needs to burn before they do anything and my car "only" burns 1 litre per 3000km or so... my car has also had an ECU upgrade so I guess I'm out of luck anyways.
Thank you
Hello
I have owned my 2009 a4 for a little over a year and since day one it has been a money pit in terms of oil consumption. At the beginning I was consuming a liter every 500-600 Kms. Now it has been reduced to approx every 300 Kms?!? This is ridiculous. I contacted audi canada who said because I am not the original owner and therefore didn't have all the service records for the car since new, that there was zero they could do. My mechanic knew of the problem right off the bat and has seen dozens of examples. This is absolutely unacceptable and we owners need to be compensated for this blatant disregard and poor service. In the US recently a suit was brought against audi in which they lost and had to pay for repairs etc to any and all of their customers who had this oil consumption issue. It's about time this happens here as well
Please contact me and let's get this class action suit rolling. Thanks rob

Yes is true, I got the letter today (Feb 28 2015) from Audi Canada (WOW!!!), saying the car is coverred up
to 130000km. The coverage is transferable. There are some conditions as:

I had the ECU firmware upgrade and related oil work today @ New Market, Pfaff Audi.
I was very, very pleased by the service and personel. The ECU firmware upgrade made a lot of
difference. The car runs incomparable as before. Much smooth, less noisy, more torque, and
seems to be less Gas/Km.
Cross fingers.
