I have a 2010 a4 avant s-line.......2 kids under 4.....we go out of town most weekends and have lots of room. It's a great family car that is stellar to drive.

A buddy who works for Audi mentioned to me the rear seats are set slightly further back in the Avants because there is so much extra room. Not sure what model years he was talking about specifically but there is definitely more room in my B6 Avant than another friends B5 sedan. Makes sense to me anyways.

Heyaa maan

Put these kids there for 2 hours and come home. They will tell you that they do not want to leave the car and ask you for a spin around your area for an extra 10 minutes. This is what my kids do.
(I have leather seats and I let them play music that they want)

I have seen many of mentioned cars after an accident with trucks in Calgary DT. Often Jaws of life had to be used.
The site of driver being pinned between the steering wheel and the seat and still alive waiting for firefighters to arrive is something that I can not describe with words.

Hondas are not junk, just a different platform that some may not be interested in, and not all people who drive Hondas put themselves or their families in danger. My wife drives a Honda Civic and it really is a very relieable and safe car.

Audis are great cars (not without problems) and we here are all enthusiasts but please be respectful.

Agreed. Honda's are not my cup of tea but they are great cars and Honda is a quality company.

Hondas are not junk for sure. My gf drives a civic and it cost 1/5 of my audi's up keep. Not to mention the gas mileage that thing gets.

I love my audi, but i won't say that other cars are junks. Well maybe the old pinto and pacers lol.

And Honda (and BMW) have a long time reputation for making the best engine makers regarding power*reliability/consumption. Hard to beat that.

A4Avanti - thanks for the reply. We own and drive Audis because that is our choice despite some of the inherent Audi problems hence the forum. As members we are either seeking advice or want to share some of our enthusiasm. If I could pick my 5 car garage and what that would look like it would probably include other brands and perhaps even a Honda (Accura NSX).

Thanks for you input.
