Hey fellas. Picked up my 2006 2.0T today from the dealership and I noticed a few paint chips on the front, probably from stones and pebbles. They're pretty obvious when if you take a close look (the car's black). I mentioned it to my salesperson when he gave me the tour of the car and he said he'll get back to me. I was kinda sketchy about the whole thing but my wife insisted we get going and to call the salesperson tomorrow. From what I understood prior to buying the vehicle, they were going to get those cleaned up.

Just wondering...because I drove the car off the lot, did I screw myself over? Or do you think I can get them to fix the chips with touchup?

If they can't, do you guys know a good product?

You should have refused to take it until it was fixed now it is in your hands just be persuasive.

Mark Motors was pretty reasonable with me on those things. Although they did do all the little fixes they promised prior to me picking the car up, they didn't give me the touch-up paint they had verbally promised. I followed up after taking delivery and had no issues with them honouring it.

At the same time, there is a difference between $20 touch-up paint stick and having them do the touch-up work, but hopefully they'll follow through with you.
