are you rubbin in the front or rear ? how much distance between fender to ground ?

i was rubbing with (235/35/19) when i was at 24 3/4, removed the rubber tab from the front, was only rubbing during hard turns or with 2 passengers in the back

raised back up to 25 - 25 1/4 and now it never rubs =) - pics above - car is @ 25 1/4

I'm thinking about another thing:
1. my ET = 32 > maybe your's is different or these rims were produced only with one ET?
2. I don't know how wide are my rims: 8; 8,5;9; 9,5 inch > or maybe this model was produced with only one wide-size?

This is what I found on ABT web site

http://www.abt-sportsline.de/en/tuni...SP-wheel-1808/

I'm wondering like this cause I bought mine with tires 245/35 which makes me wonder if they're comming from A6 => might be wider?

Can you answer for one of these questions?

mine are ET32 for sure, 19x8.5, i think ABT only has ET32 for A4 (B6/B7) fitment.

on a 8.5 inch rim, you can have 235/245/255 tires on them and they are considered the "right" width, read it off from toyos and some other companies sites

I did get my car back =)

A few pics after a little cleaning job =p

wow - finally !!!
I having such issue
ImageShack - Hosting :: a2ah9.jpg
and this is how it looks like from another angle
ImageShack - Hosting :: a2ah9.jpg
as to me with tire profile 245/35 it looks a little bit "bulky" = not matching with car shape
ImageShack - Hosting :: a3dg0.jpg

don't you think so?

In general maybe it would be good to polish rims matching centre caps, cause as it looks right now there's totally different/contrast color...just a thought

one more question: I see that you also have brake calipers like mine > can you measure space between wheel arm & caliper in most narrow point?

...just received confirmation from ABT head office in Germany that for A4 only acceptable tire sizes are: 225/35; 235/35 & 255/30.
The size on my wheels (245/35) is applicable only for A6.
