So I get that the heated side view mirrors delaminate and allow water to get in between the glass and reflective backing thus discoloring it. My question is - Where the heck can you buy replacement glass without having to buy the entire assembly.

My mechanic says to have a glass company cut a mirror to the same dimensions and Glue/fasten it on top of the old mirror.

Do actual replacements exist?

Any suggestions?
