Rock chips
I took a bullseye style rock chip on Friday right above where the rear view mirror/rain sensor is.
Crystal Glass say they can't do anything and quoted $550+gst to replace the windshield.
Anyone else has a rock chip in that area and was it fixed up? guess I need to get it filled sooner rather than later if possible before it starts to send cracks all over.

My suggestion is, just get it filled without their warranty. Try minitLube they also have a guy there but call ahead.
Even if the windshield cracks I would not change it till summer time, think about it winter just started, Id be pissed if another rock chip came on a new one.

They were more concerned they might crack the part where the rain sensor is if they drill, but I've no plans to change the windshield until cracks develop over my side.
