I am just wondering if these wheels will fit my 2004 A4 B6. They are 7.5 X 17, ET45, off a 2006 A6. If they will fit, what are your recommendations for tires. Will I need spacers or not? Thanks. I have posted this on the wheels and tires section to.

 

Okay the rims fit, but will a 245/50 X17 fit in the wheelwells of a stock B6? My speedometer already reads faster than what I am actually going, so this would get it back to where it should be.

 

You're unlikely to find someone with that exact setup. Tons of people go to wider 245s, but I don't think any are going to a 50 series tire on a 17" wheel that is also a different offset. In short, you probably have better odds of winning the lottery than finding someone with the same car and same wheels and same tires

You're going to be 10mm too far inboard with that offset, and you're increasing the width of the tire by 10mm and the diameter by ~2cm. How high your suspension is set, and your alignment geometry, will also come into play for fitment. If you're running OEM non-sport suspension and an alignment within Audi spec, I'd guess that you could fit for sure with 10mm spacers, and maybe even without them. Just a guess, though!

 

So just go with the 235/45 and call it a day! Not really going for anything other than a better looking wheel for my stock car. Speedometer will still register the same with that tire as the circumference is almost identical.
