Towed avant quattro
Lately, my girlfriend had the Avant towed because she forgot to put her parking tag on the dash. so when she got out off work, no car! good job babe...
Question is: they had to tow the car at least 20 feet so they can put the dollies on and off. Ain't no flatbed.
the car was on "Park" all way long.
Should I be worried about the gears and stuff? Cause I am
Thanks
Aleks

JAudi : they did use dollies.
They even show pictures off them at the pound.
BUT I am pretty sure they had to pull out of the parking spot since they had no place to move. And the dollies they used where not ratchet kind as shown on your pictures, so they have to lift one end, put the dollies, and then attach the other end and go....
Again, thanks honey....( It's not like i've been telling you to get the &*/(%?& parking tag fixed for 2 months and a half.....)
anyway....Yesterday, the epc light came on.....Just so i freak a little more
Thanks!

Ah yes, then, I would be concerned.
I recall watching a car get towed from in front of my house, and essentially the operator had to drag the car out into the roadway, before he could get it up on the tow truck properly.
