Question Question about surface scratches on flat part of trunk...

Sup all? I have a nice paint job for a six year old car. However I have some scratches on my trunk due to time and I think cats getting on the trunk. I bought some Nu finish scratch doctor and It works well on haze and swirl scratches. I am looking for anything no matter the price to try and fix these hair sized scratches. Hopefully something that does'nt wash off soon after application. If you guys have anything you know of that works or helps it would be awesome. Thanks a lot. Would I need to get a buffer wheel or pay for someone to use one on it?

Check out autopia.org for lots of good advice on this kind of stuff. Depending on whether you've scratched right through to primer or not you might need to get some touch up paint to fill the scratches.

yep. beteween coats, give it a light going-over with 3000 grit wet/dry sandpaper that you soaked in water for an hour. then finish with some polish and wax.
