2005 with cracking seat surface
I have a 2005 A4 1.8T with leather( ? ) seats, the driver's seat showing cracks on the surface of the left side support, at a close look it doesn't look like leather, the cracks appear may be because of rubbing while getting in and out of the car, my car is still under warranty till Nov.2008, I wonder is it happen to other A4, can it be repair or it is cover by warranty?!! Please, can anybody tell me about this matter. What is the best way!!
The sides of the seats are actually leatherette and not full leather as far as I remember. The plastic seat moulding is probably cutting into the seat as you sit in it.
I know a few people who have had success getting it covered by warranty, just check with the dealer and i'm sure it'll help i fyou've had some work done there.

If it is under warranty ( I hope, beacuse my A4 is a used car with balance of warranty till Nov.08 ) what the dealer will do with it? Are they going to patch it up, repair it or change the surface, any idea?
Generally, make sure you guys are caring properly for your seats! Use a leather cleaner occassionally and a leather moisturizer every few months to avoid drying out and cracking. This was the recommendation of my detailer. keeps the seats nice and supple too.
