From my understanding, I spoke with Audi Canada, is that as they are on recall, they will ALL be replaced. If any part is changed on recall, normally they will not give them to you, Audi or otherwise.

Oh, I am scheduled for next Saturday - because of the bad reviews I have chosen not to go with Audi downtown, but I chose Agincourt - then I saw some bad reviews on them as well! Let's hope it all goes well!

i can vouch for Agincourt...they are really good...

great service and very professional...and i take full advantage of the shuttle service even if i don't need it lol hahaha...steve is the shuttle driver...good guy

usually I speak to Kevin at the service desk but I dealt with Remy this time who usually services the VW customers.

But one thing...they are by the book on everything...no bending the rules etc...

the shop foreman...Eli...is a nice guy if you need to speak with him as well...but I doubt you will since it's just a coilpack issue...

and when i got mine done with them...they said they changed all 4 even though i had no probs with my previous ones...but then again...i never checked...just took their word for it...but i doubt they'll try to screw you over since they're a pretty big dealership and one of the busiest in Ontario...

When I went in for my coil packs recall. All they did was check the part number and verify that they were the newer ones. Which they were and they refunded the two spare ones that I bought (which happened to be the misfiring ones). So I had good coil packs but bad backups! haha.

Thanks man, that puts my mind at ease going in. I need to do an oil change etc - its due, and normally go to independat tuning, I was thinking of getting a price from them and probably have them do it as the car is there - any idea how their prices are?

^^ to be honest...i go to independent tuning as well for the "inbetween" oil changes and go to agincourt for the maintenance interval oil change to get the stupid audi stamp to keep resale value high...so i've never gotten just an oil change from agincourt for price comparison

if you don't care about the audi stamp...i'd say stick with brian/mark at independent tuning...they probably do a better job anyway...and i'm 99.9% sure their prices will be lower
