Hi folks I Need rotors and pads for 2002 A4 B6. I am doing the job myself but was just wondering if i should buy stock or is there a better bang for my buck ???
I would like to buy locally just in case there is any issues. I live in Calgary area

Wouldn't stay with OEM pads - just find ones that don't produce so much black brake dust

Stick with plain OEM Zimmerman rotors and go with euro ceramic Akebono pads
That is what I have, improved braking, and no dust brake whatsoever compared to pathetic OEM lol

I've been looking at some of the ECS kits but haven't been able to decide. Prices seem reasonable but definitely not local.

 

Why bother...especially since you will pay an insane brokerage fees since most US based compagnies ship vis UPS and or FedEx. The only way i would go for it is if they ship USPS/Canada Post and avoid a very very salty surprise. I would simply order to a US address or get everything from Auto Parts Way Canada

 

It's just another option. For me, I'm looking for more than just oem replacement. I've got nothing against autopartsway, I've bought plenty from them before.

 

If you need rear rotors 255mm, I have a brand new set that I can sell you.
I bought the wrong kit a year ago (needed the 245mm)
