CVT is exclusive to Front wheel drive. If you have CVT you don't have quattro

I guess ignorance is bliss. I know it is a quattro (it's on the dash and in the back and it was listed as such when I bought it and confirmed by my mechanic). Somehow I thought the transmission was cvt guess I am not mechanically inclined at all. Since it is an automatic should I call it tiptronic? or what? Please enlighten me.

700 to 900km per tank full... I do about 450 to 500 with alot of city driving and 500 on highway.

Seems ok since the car is that heavy and is a Quattro

I have a 2004 1.8T w/ tiptronic, and I can get about 700-800km on a tank

I was getting about 620 km on a full tank for 2005 quattro 1.8 with 170 km a day highway and 10 km city. I started using Eco-fuel Saver from Canadian Tire 2 mths ago, and am now getting about 700- 720 km on a full tank with the same driving pattern.
