A4 Avant 2004 cold weather belt squeek

I have a used 2004 Avant 1.8 T which I adore, but it developed a cold weather belt low rpm idle squeek. When it warms up it goes away...but it is a bit annoying. I expect summer temps will remedy this but...any thoughts...is this a sign or warning of an impending repair. It has 80,000 kms on it. (don't know if the belt has 80)
