what a nice place this forum is!

I have my 2 plate lights that are out, are have replaced my bulbs. Since it still don't work, it has to be a wiring problem.

I have a multimeter and want to determine where the problem is. I've unmounted my trunk interior, and see many wires.

I'd like to know what are those. Someone has a repair manual and has this diagram?

Have you tried checking the fuse ?

 

Yep, I inspected the fuse box and all seem in order. Except that in the fuse box, it seems that there is no fuse called licence plate or something.

Anyway I've checked many fuses which *could* have a link with the licence and they are all intact.

Damn I hate those weird, should-be-okay, situations!

 

[Solved]

It was a mix of many problems.

- cut wires on right side
- destroyed bulb holder on left side
- bad contacts on left side
- loose contacts on right side

Not at all !

Unfortunately I don,t see any other options than brining the car to Audi and to see the whooping invoice they'll get on that one! lol
