Default Where is the Comfort Control Module located on 2001 A4?

I believe my Comfort Control Module has failed and has caused my windows, locks, alarm and sunroof to stop working. Where is it located? I've heard it's in the trunk as well as under the seat. PLEASE HELP!!

Thanks

Hi the Comfort control module is located in the A4 (mine is a 2001 tdi) under the carpet under the passenger side seat ( mine in a right hand drive) Water can enter this area and kill this comfort ecu. You will need to locate the module and get the code for the part as they can differ from model to model. A new one from Audi is about £300 and you also have to get it coded using a laptop from a dealer or mechanic who has the software. Shop around
My module is fryed and it is making the car lock itself and turn on the alarm when I put on an inside light. It has locked the keys inside many times so at the moment I have to carry the spare key in my pocket at all times !!

Hope to get it fixed soon

Hope this helps
