Default Tore piece of airbox off my car

hey guys, so I have 2.8 B5 and I stupidly drove my car onto my friends driveway when their was a foot of snow on it and a componant came off my car. His roomate found a piece of my airbox( or it looks like) laying on the ground in the morning. I am worried that my car will suck in non filtered air or somthing. Is this componant crucial to the cars operation. I plan to fix it, Im just not near a lift or a jack and I need to drive my car.
The piece is like a foot in length and 4 inches aross, with a flexible part in the middle.

Edit: the car runs fine and does not sound different. It hasnt thrown a code yet

Do you happen to have a picture of said piece that came off the car? Is it this thing?
