How do I take trunk lock apart?
Hi all
I've been an Audi owner for a little over a week and have just discovered this excellent forum.
The trunk lock on my 1996 A4 is totally seized (can't even insert key). I have a spare from the breakers but want to transfer tumblers so that my original key will operate the new lock. I've managed to get the sliding part (lock cylinder and barrel) out of the mounting plate but still can't get the barrel out of the cylinder to get at the tumblers. Do any of you good people know how to do this?
