Trolls love this kind of response! Adam is actually a troll disguised as a Calgary Audi owner who thinks it's cool to endanger other peoples lives as he satisfies his need to go fast. And then there's the conspiracy to keep non "Jap" auto makers out of Canada. Good thing we don't have any Japs on the forum, eh Adam?

The way I see it, cars now a days are engineered to just "collapse" in an accident. I'm sure the photo that Adam posted in the beginning appeared severely crushed due to the adaptation of crumple zones integrated within the design of the vehicle.
When one of our BMW's was involved in a hit and run, my husband claimed that both he and the driver of the other vehicle that struck him were going no more than 10-15kmh as they both had just taken off from the light. But the damage was severe enough for ICBC to replace most of the front, right hand side of the M3.
I'm no expert but it almost seems like the cars we drive now are far more "softer" than the old wagons that our mum's drove back when we were younger.
