87 octans just killing faster u turbo.
the fuel and fuel quality have no effect whatsoever on the turbo.... however, too low of an octane in a turbocharged car CAN risk detonation which would certainly damage the engine!

- have effect on the turbo, shorter life.

Care to explain how you figure fuel affects the turbo? It does not contact the turbo, at least until after combustion. Most people would agree that it is oil quality and warm-up/cool-down procedures that affect the life of the turbo....
