How to line up the A4 Hood - can it be done at the latch release? By adjusting the bolt or something?

 

lol, i got the car for $1000. All i have into this project really is time. All my material, headlights, and bumper have totaled to about $900 MAX.....last time i look at B7 pricing they were still around 20K +

 

Not sure how EXACTLY to adjust the hood latch, but if you mean the body lines on the hood/fenders aren't matching well, then i do know there are 4 rubber stoppers that you can hand adjust to change the way it shuts.

I believe your solution may work - really appreciate that!
Now I have to look for the 4 rubber stoppers tomorrow and if I can just tweak them until the hood flashes all around - then it is done!

I tried and it works except now the latch ( pull to open hood under the dash - inside the car ) is a little too tight or take more effort to pull the latch and open the hood!
Will there be another adjustment I can try?

I just found this, please tell me you have updates. I fell in love with this project. And I am almost certain I am going to attempt something similar once the A4 becomes a toy car...

 

He hasnt been online since JAN 6th 2011 - Hopefully thats cause hes working hard on it.
