i do like the new b7-b8 front ends. But only on the new platforms.

Coming from someone who owns a B7, please do not ruin the front of your B5! The B5 has some of the most beautiful lines as is, and will most definitely become a design classic in the automotive industry. I say, just leave it the way it is.

 

not only is it a B5-B7 conversion, its looks like its going to the RS4 front.

Update Everyone:

 

OK so i removed some of the very harsh body lines on the original bumper (above each air duct and the sharp 90 degree on each side). you'll have to see the before and after to understand...but it looks a little smoother now. Also installed a few mounting points temporarily until i construct a new front support bar. Sorry for the delayed pics, i actually started posting my progress and step by step in audiforums.com and forgot to update this site with progress. I filled the large gaps in the fiberglass molded bumper with a high strength industrial expanding foam and shaved i to fit nicely. Got my OEM grill in as well so i will post a few pics of that as well. up next will be cutting the old hood and molding on the extension. i also plan on removing all side moldings and forming a widebody flared fender project very very soon. well, as soon as i can come across rs4 or s4 sideskirts (please HELP me find some!!!) thanks for checking it out!
