Default 98 A4 Quattro--shudder felt at low speed turning??

I have a 98 A4 1.8T Q and have been noticing a shudder/vibration kinda feeling when turning sharp like in a parking lot.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Was wondering if this could be differential fluid that needs to be flushed or something?

Thanks

I'm going to say it sounds like the CV joints (or "half axels") are gone. Surprisingly easy to change and not all that expensive - say $125 for one side. I did both of mine because the boots were gone, it was easier than changing the boots. Note: different lengths for left and right!

Also, your wheel bearings could be on their way out.

Thank you the reply I will check them out for sure.

I have run into a same kinda feeling/sensation thou as a mechanic and working on shudder issues with Honda Cr-v's... come to think of it, it was a fluid flush in the rear clutch differential.

Since I have no road noise I doubt it is the bearing and I am pretty sure my boots are all good on all the cv's... I will double check thou

Gonna do a full drivetrain fluid change with synthetics after the new year anyways and hopefully that fixes the issue. I'll keep ya posted

This was happening on my 01 A4. It was the a broken spring.

Huh, a broken spring?? As in a coil spring for the suspension?
