Default 2001 A4 1.8t

would anyone know what stock boost is on a 01 1.8t, and also what would be considered safe boost if i wanted to turn it up a few psi???

Get your car chipped and you will get a cheap raise in psi, or get a bigger turbo and you can get upwards of like 20 psi, but you also stand the chance of ****ing something up in your engine.

Stock i hear we have around 9 psi but i wouldnt quote myself on that one so you shouldnt either

Stock should be right around 8PSI, guys are pushing it up to 12-14PSI but reducing the life of the turbo dramatically

get intake, exhaust and a chip and you'll feel the difference... lol

Get the chip it wil re map the system and use more boost on the turbo anyway
