Thinking about buying a B8 S4

Re: Thinking about buying a B8 S4
Thanks Luc. I'd appreciate the ride.
To be honest, I have high hopes for avoiding the mod-bug, at least as far as major modifications go. My Subaru is modified to the point that the only stock parts are the seats, doors and shell. Everything else has been replaced/upgraded and it got to the point that its too much. I've definitely learned some lessons when it comes to modifying cars, but we'll see what happens with this one.
B&O sound system... check. Thanks!

I have the sport diff, no nav, Alu Kreuz, and GIAC Stage I tune. I also had an amp and sub added to the B&O to fill the missing low end (the only part of the sound system that was lacking).
I am not-so-patiently wait for GIAC stage II/pulley upgrade as well as the Roc-euro intake (on order) and black optics grill (on my apartmetn floor) and car should be GTG for awhile.

If you cant wait for Luc, I am happy to take you for a spin in 2012 S4.

I went to Glenmore Audi this afternoon and took a 2012 out for a spin today. Loved it. The Nav is beautiful. The rear end comes around a lot better than I thought it would around tight corners.

Another question:
I test drove a 2012 S4 and was amazed at how much the drive select changed the car's handling.
On a car without the drive select option, is the suspension more like the Comfort setting or more like the Dynamic setting?

Re: Thinking about buying a B8 S4
It's hard to compare since the shocks are completely different. Comfort mode with drive select is very floaty and comfortable, it's nothing like the non-ads suspension.
I only had 100km on mine before putting the sway bars and springs on so I can't really comment on the stock set up. My vehicle is quite firm now though.
