If anyone has an a3 that does not have bluetooth you can order the fiscon bluetooth from oemplus and Pfaff Audi in Vaughn will install it for $200 including installation and coding. Just thought id let you guys know if you are interested in getting this feature.

yea it works through the steering wheel you have to go on the OEMPlus website and the click on the fiscon bluetooth unit. there are 2 units, one is the basic and then the other is the pro. You can look at them here:
FISCON-Mobile : OEMpl.us, Original Equipment

I would recommend that you go to Pffaf because it was their first time installing this unit on my car and they did a really good job of it. The only thing that makes this unit different from the oem one is that the mic is sticking out near the a pillar but they make it look neat, so no wires are showing and thats where you get the best sound quality. This bluetooth kit does not have voice commands yet but i asked oemplus if it will and they told me fiscon is working on that and there will be a patch for it. The feature i liked most is the A2dp i can play music from my phones flash drive onto my bose speakers of my car through the bluetooth and the function labled Mode on your steering wheel will guide you through all the options available. A few options are you can view your missed calls, last call you dialed, your phonebook and you can change the mic settings. For the price I would say this kit is worth it because you are getting a few more features then the oem bluetooth kit and for the near future fiscon gives updates that allow you to update your bluetooth kit from your laptop (if you have bluetooth on it) by downloading the firmware and transfer via bluetooth to the kit. This will make sure all the future generations of phones will work with your car and you should not have any problems.

Oyea and if you call pfaff ask to speak with Shaun he is the service rep who helped me set up my appointment and knows a fair bit about this. If you do happen to go there mention Rikesh to shaun and tell him how they installed this kit on my A3. The price i listed there included tax aswell.

Let me know if you need anymore info on this kit.

so how much did it cost you in total? 200 bucks? including the unit? or 200 bucks just for the install and the unit is sold separately?

also did you order it off OEMPlus and then went to plaff to install it? or they ordered it and installed for you?

thanks i will look into it.

the unit that i bought was the pro so it connected to my RNSE nav and steering wheel and it costed me about 500 because at Christmas they were having 15% off and then i paid the shipping on the site through ups. Ups came to my door and i had to pay $121 because when you cross the border you have to pay those fees. In total it came up to about $821. This is still worth it because when i go to audi markham they are selling a motorolla bluetooth accessory that does not allow all your steering wheel functions and the rest to work and they charge $799 for the unit plus their labour will end up costing over $1000.

you can either do the order yourself online through oemplus or you can call oemplus and do the order on the phone. The number is listed on their website.

But to add it as an option when you purchase the vehicle through the dealership it is $890 all in I think. I don't see much of a price reason to go outside.

It is included in the Sport Package (which is $3,700 total). So I got it with my new vehicle and it's been working seamlessly since setup. (Setup took 10 seconds as the salesman walked me through the menus on my BlackBerry.) The sound quality is excellent and much of it is voice commands so no fumbling.
