Firstly just a quick hello to all as im new on here. Recently ive been experiencing intermitant ignition problems, basically the car will start run for a couple of seconds and then die and the car key symbol would flash on and off. My dad replaced the ignition barrell with a new one to suite the original key , this hasnt made any difference. The local garage (not audi)plugged it into there fault code reader and it came up with the following: 0351 Ignition Lock Terminal s
open cuircuit/ short. Can anyone help???

 

Probably need to get the key(s) reprogrammed to be in sync with the immobiliser chip in the instrument cluster; pretty certain an Audi dealer is needed to do this.
