I have 6000K right now and it is not that great. too blue an not enough light. I wish I went for the 5000K. 5000K is the sweet spot of maximum brightness and blue tint. Anything over 5000K is past the point of diminishing returns.
If you want the blue look go 6000K and higher
If you want maximum brightness go 5000K-4300K
If you want the blue look go 6000K and higher
If you want maximum brightness go 5000K-4300K

I had to replace my left HID this past weekend.
I bought a set of DDM 35W 5000K HIDs. These are FAR better than the 6000K Mtecs I had before. Just say no to any HID temp that is 6000K or higher!
