I have 03 1.8t a4 that went it into failsafe mode while driving through a parking lot. scanner says "p2716 pressure control solenoid d electrical". the dealership told me to replace the whole tranny......(not gonna happen).....tranny specialist suggested valve body. I replaced entire valvebody complete with solenoids. This didnt fix my problem at all. when i start the car it works fine for about 10mins or so until it warms up......then the trans "jumps" and goes back into failsafe mode. Can this be an electrical problem or could it be torque converter? Ive read that my ECU could be the problem....Im already out $1500 and Im no further ahead! Anybody Have any info on this problem? Any info would be appreciated greatly.
