Winter Tires Questions for A6
Hi guys, I purchased my lease for a A6 2014 and am looking winter tires. The summer tires are OEM 245/45/R18 100H. The Mississauga Dealership quoted me $2500 for non OEM rims + Bridgestone tires as there is no OEM winter package available. So I want to buy them myself. Questions for the board
#1. What are good brands to aim for and the price range for winter tires on A6.
#2. I am considering just getting the tires and not the rims. I think there are wear/tear issues with outfitting the tires but I want to know what people's experience on it.
#3. I want to go to Costco to get them changed. They are charging $60 for four tires (including balancing). I wonder anyone has good/bad experience going there.
