Wheel Change Date

Re: Wheel Change Date
I usually swap over once it's over 6-7 degrees reguarly (generally mid to late march)
this year I still have my winters on because they're almost bald so it's their last run...and i figured I may as well get some miles out of them.

Re: Wheel Change Date
I did the same one year, be particularly careful in wet conditions. I kept mine on (3rd season X-ice) until I went to stop for a red light in the rain, and slid into the intersection. It felt like I had hit an oil slick, but I really believe it was the winters.
I changed over to a pair of new summers within a couple of days.

Re: Wheel Change Date
lol...that'll get your blood pumping and your heart racing!
I swapped over to my summer setup last night. Got the wheels perfectly clean first...P21s wheel gel + ez brush + microfibre mitt, then Poor Boys Wheel Sealant to prevent brake dust adhesion. Shiny!

Re: Wheel Change Date
Got the Lexus, Tiburon and Sunfire done, Just the Audi left. Wheel was damaged in shipment so still in the shop being repaired. Decided to have the S5 ten spokes machined to expose the face on the spokes. Hopefully it turns out. Could be an expensive mistake. Have them at Alberta wheel waiting their turn in the lathe. I'll post when completed.
Any suggestions for wheel paint colour on Ibis White with Brown roof a5 Cabriolet? Probably leave them silver but was looking at a copper metal flake that would certainly turn heads, maybe the other way! LOL.
