Bridgeston Potenza - direction
I purchased a used set of wheels and tires (Potenza REO50A) anticipating the tires would have the rotation mark on the tires. I cannot find any rotational information, only 'outside'. The tires have about 70% tread left.
I am pretty sure that I must mount the tires (steel belt) in the same direction of rotation that they were broken in? Is this true? Is there a subtle rotation mark I am missing?

Re: Bridgeston Potenza - direction
They're not directional tires, they're assymetric. There is no direction of rotation, only an INSIDE and OUTSIDE as you noticed. They're more flexible in terms of tire rotation (you can swap wheels left to right) as opposed to directional tires. Manufacturers have also gotten away from directional tires due to the higher noise levels that directional tires typically produce.
