Default B8 S4 lugs for winter?

I have a set of TSW Nurburgring wheels, 18x8 that i'm warpping in Vredestein Wintrac Xtremes, 245/40/18. For anyone with aftermarket wheels did you use your stock lugs or would you reccomend a different set of lugs and if so which kind??

Unless the TSW wheels are made for OEM ball seat lugs, I'd go with conical lugs to ensure proper fit ...

That said, I learned that the wrong lugs were used on my car last winter and the wheels didnt fall off ...

Sorry but I'm not in the know. I've been fortunate enough to have wheels (and spacers) come with what I needed. I'll bet BryanR (formerly of IT and soon to be Rodgers Performance in Ottawa) would be able to make a suggestion ...

After much research, I went with quality and got mine from RAD via Amazon
http://www.radusadirect.com/

Had my sister buy them in the U.S. and bring them to me, so dunno what shipping might cost to Canada...

the VMR wheels were designed to use OEM bolts, but not sure if TSW does. Easiest way is to ask.

TSW wheels are sometimes very aggressive offset so you may actually need longer bolts.

my TSW's are winter rims so wanted the offset higher and mine are +45 and with stock being 47 cant imagine i'd have a problem there.

Do you or anyone for that matter know what specs i'm looking for on a 2012 S4? I almost ran into trouble with the hub rings as it seems in 2010 they had a different centre bore which now is 66.6 on the 2012... i just heard that it was different but the wheel guy could have been wrong as why would Audi chnage centre bore in the middle of the B8..

centrebore is 66.6 for the entire b8 class...if yours is a 2012 your centrebore is 66.6.

re: offset impacting length of bolt, it's not really the offset per se that matters, more the thickness of the mounting surface of the rim. Put a stock bolt (which is about 28mm shank length) through the bolt hole of the rim to give you an idea of how much the bolt will protrude out from the back of the rim...I think you want about 20mm exposed or so to engage the wheel hub of ur car. If the stock length looks ok, buy a cone seat 14 x 1.5 x 28 bolt set (if your rims are cone seat that is).

This is what I actually bought for my 2010 b8 a4:
