Since we've covered tinting in the GTA, any Vancouver people have any suggestions as to where I should go to get my tinting done? I'm still fairly new to the West Coast and any help would be appreciated.

 

I have had a couple cars done at N-Motion on Boundry and they're very good and fast. I you do go there or at least call for a quote mention that you saw their add on Revscene.net and they will give you a decent discount. Here's a link to there tint info. n-motionauto.net

Thanks for the advice it's appreciated; I'll give them a call in the next few days when I get back in town.

 

After a long while, had the car tinted at N Motion as you suggested. They were happy to apply the discount, and I am happy with the results - would recommend it to others. I had my car done in Richmond (a little closer to home), but visited the Boundary location the next week to get a bubble taken out; at both locations the staff were friendly and helpful.

Thanks again for the suggestion. Any idea when/where Audi owners meet here in YVR? I've got a VAG COM that I'm itching to learn how to use properly!

 

So, how much did you pay? I want to have my done soon. I checked other place, they quote $135. It will take couple of hours. What do you think!

 

I payed $150, and was very happy with the results. I'm certainly not a tinting expert, but would be happy to pay more and get a good result than less and wind up unhappy.

 

What all did you get tinted an what % for 150?

 

I got the rear passenger windows and hatch glass (I've got an Avant) done, they offered to do the driver and front passenger window if I wanted, but I know to many people who've been ticketed out here, so I declined. I had a relatively light tint applied (sorry have forgotten the %), as I'm not a big fan of the contrast between untinted front side windows and heavily tinted rears.
