Canada harmonizes Cdn bumper stds. with US & Euro stds.
This means many Audi's previously inadmissable from the US or requiring major bumper modification will now be admissable as they are. I hope RIV update their list soon.
Canada Gazette – Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Bumpers)
If you have the patience to read the whole document, it is noted that the main reasons for harmonization was for manufacturing consistency as well as to facilitate importation. And it's amusing that the only Canadian institution to try and play spoilsport was friggin' ICBC. I'm glad Transport Canada told them to take a hike.
