I just purchased a 2007 A4 2.0T Cab for my wife. To make it fun for me to drive on occasion I'm interested in have a chip installed. Has anyone had it done in Vancouver proper or the North Shore?

I'm interested as well. From all the reading I've done, APR and REVO seem to be the best liked, with APR in the lead for smoother shifting, better fuel economy and the ability to turn it back to stock using the cruise control button.

I'm curious if any Vancouverites have had any experience with any of the local shops.

Just try a 5 hour flash from me. I'm a REVO dealer, I could come flash your car in Van if you cover my flight there only. With the REVO Stage 1 Flash I can adjust 3 main settings in you car; boost level, timing control, and fuel quality. It's way more value for you money, if you also buy the SPS Select (USB interface for MAC/PC) you have the ability to change those three main setting on your own plus the ability to pre-program two driving programs into the small controller for on the fly switching without a laptop. With the SPS Select you can change or turn off the revo code anytime anywhere if you need to have it back to stock ie. dealer service, emissions test, etc.. I'm in Calgary, PM me.

 

I decided to go with the APR 91 octane chip installed by Warren at RPI in Richmond. It took a grand total of 45 mins and the result is amazing. I may go back and get the 93 octane installed later. The added performance takes the car from adequate to truly fun to drive,

Damn, too bad there are no authorized dealers in Sask. Going to have to wait for my next trip to Calgary.

 

I also just had my A4 done at RPI in Richmond. Went with the 93 octane program. The difference between stock and the 93 program it very substantial. Highly recommended.
