my sunroof stopped working. Turned out the gear on the motor cracked in half. Got a new gear from eBay, only problem I have is the gear won’t stay on the sunroof motor, it just slides off the motor shaft… I guess because the sunroof is too hard to move?

Would anyone happen to see a good article to actually make those work properly or how to evaluate what wrong?
