The auto lock/unlock on my 2010 Q5 stopped working this week. The buttons on the remote key still work. Touching the button on the door handle no longer unlocks the doors and approaching the car no longer unlocks the doors.

I verified that the auto lock feature is ON through the MMI. I also replaced the remote batteries just in case but didn't make a difference.

Any ideas?

I'll assume you mean all 4 handles are not functioning. I had a few problems with the driver rear door doing this, and they replaced the sensor mechanism in the door handle. I doubt all four would fail at the same time. Did you try both FOB's?
