So I just recently popped the hood and noticed that the Engine Cover is completely loose, plus the turbo air intake (I think that's what it is) is not connected to the front at all. Really strange. I'm guessing that whoever worked on it last left it like that but I'm curious, can this happen from driving over bumpy roads?

As far as I know it's not easy to pop that engine cover so I'm doubtful it could have gotten that way on it's own. I'm guessing the dealer's mechanic ed it up.

He probably broke the engine cover taking it off.... they tend to break if they aren't removed correctly. There's plenty of DIY with pics on the web for this, pretty straight forward once you figure out where to pull...
