MMI USB Adapter cable - Portable GPS

Does anyone know that a portable GPS will work with the MMI if connect thru a USB Adapter cable??

I would doubt it, the MMI interface is only for music, the USB adapter will just be looking for a USB stick or portable hard drive with folder and music files on it.
